Listed engineering services group Renew Holdings has agreed a deal to acquire a business operating in the UK water market for £29.5m.

J Browne Group, based in Enfield, is a water-focused engineering services business that operates across the South of England for Thames Water, Southern Water, Affinity Water and South East Water.

The company provides multi-disciplinary infrastructure and non-infrastructure services through a number of longstanding framework agreements, across all disciplines in the water sector, as well as utility connections and infrastructure services to the developer market in London and the Home Counties.
